At Handy Hire, Ferrymead, we offer hire equipment for a range of different categories.

Our hire equipment can help you with construction, concreting, earthmoving, all the way to personal garden projects & landscaping.

Please note all hire prices exclude any fuel charges - Diesel = $4.00, Petrol = $4.50, 2 Stroke = $5.00 ALL PER LITRE  - Subject to change without notice.

Half Day = 4 Hours

All Hirers need to have government issued I.D.  and pay a bond $50-$200 (amount is equipment dependent).

All of our hire equipment is to be picked up from our store in Ferrymead, Christchurch.  We have trailers available if the equipment is too big for your vehicle.

LAWN SCARIFIER

LAWN SCARIFIER / DETHATCHER

Lawn Dethatcher for Hire also known as a Power Rake or Lawn Scarifier . Used to de-thatch and aerate lawns which allows the lawn to rejuvenate itself.
Underneath is a series of blades that rotate and flick the thatch out and the height can be adjusted to suit the depth required for aeration, in most situations the lawn should be de-thatched in one direction and then again at 90 degrees to the first cut.

Tip: you can use a lawn mower and catcher to pickup the thatch.

Price - 2 Hour minimum charge + Fuel $45.00

Price - Half Day + Fuel $60.00

Price - Full Day + Fuel $80.00
